MSAA (Monbu(kagaku)sho Scholarship Alumni Association) is a contact group for former Japanese Government scholarship holders from or living in Australia. Since 1958, the Japanese Government has funded over 250 Australians to undertake undergraduate, postgraduate and research related studies at Japanese universities.  

Each year, more than 15 Australians are given the opportunity to further their studies in Japan under this government sponsored program. People interested in applying for a scholarship should monitor the Japanese Embassy website.  Applications for undergraduate and postgraduate programs normally close around May.
